A conference created by and for health care delivery providers, and payers, and medical device producers in Minnesota. It’s produced by a small group of local volunteer organizers with significant contributions from attendees and passionate participants in the field. No pitches, or hidden agendas, just focused conversations with great moderators, panelists, and audience members. That’s right everyone gets a say (time permitting)
Why Was It Created?
Health care is facing increasing pressure in three major areas – cost containment, performance outcomes, and transparancy. HealthCamps have been successful discussion forums in San Franscisco, Philadelphia, New York, and Boston. We believe this same format would be dyanmic given the number of creative members of the Minnesota healthcare and medical device community.
The Next Event Being Considered
In Minnesota we are taking the concept of HealthCamp to new levels. Coming in the first quarter of 2010, we will produce an event called “The Big Living Room.” It will be an open conversation about healthcare with several key experts among the audience to facilitate topics and validate assertions made during the conversation.
